Running Activate
Monthly revenue inputs
The four channel figures the client logs each month, the editing window, reminders, and what saving does.
Monthly revenue inputs
Logging revenue in Activate means the company's own monthly revenue by channel, taken from their finance system. It is not partner metrics, which come from PartnerStack. The client logs it on Revenue ("Log monthly revenue"). The mirror shows it read-only.
The four figures
| Field | Card label |
|---|---|
| Sales revenue | Sales · AE-closed |
| Marketing revenue | Marketing · campaign-attributed |
| Product-led revenue | Product-led · self-serve |
| Partnerships revenue | Partnerships · partner-sourced |
Figures are entered in thousands, in the Finance currency. Each figure must be zero or more, and at least one is needed to save. The button reads Save {month} inputs.
Which months can be edited
The current month and the previous 23 months. Future months and anything older are read-only ("This period is read-only.").
Reminders
The monthly review day (set in launch settings) makes the previous month's inputs due. From that day, if any of the four figures for the previous month is missing, the Revenue page shows it as due. A figure not refreshed in 14 days shows as Stale. Reminders appear in the UI only; no reminder email is sent.
What saving does
- Saving refreshes the metrics straight away, so Momentum reflects the new figures.
- When all four figures for a completed month are saved, Activate also records that month's month-end snapshot and creates (or revises) the Monthly Review. See Snapshots and metrics.
- If the Strategy baseline is not ready, the figures still save, but the metrics refresh waits: "Revenue evidence is saved; the metrics refresh is pending until your partnership strategy is available."
Two views of the same revenue
The page compares PartnerStack · attributed with Finance · recognised each month and shows the spread. They are "compared side by side, never added together". A spread is normal. Gap closed uses the finance Partnerships figure only.
