Setting up Activate

Request integration access

How the IT contact gets the PartnerStack and Zoom setup link, and the Integration access card actions.

Request integration access

You never enter client credentials yourself. Activate sends the client's IT contact one secure magic-link request that covers both PartnerStack and Zoom. They connect each provider from the client portal.

Setting the contact

You can give the IT contact (full name, role, email) in three places:

  • The Add Activate modal, when you allocate.
  • Wizard step 6, Integrations. Use Preview email to see what goes out. The request is sent only after the Strategy baseline is created.
  • The Integration access card on the Products tab, with Change recipient. The modal is "Change integration recipient"; Save and send request saves the contact and sends the request.

If you skip the contact, the wizard notes "Skip · set up later". Integrations never block onboarding, but go-live needs them.

The Integration access card

The card shows the recipient and one panel per provider. Each panel has:

  • A state pill: Not requested, Invited, Connected, Live, Error, Revoked, or Reauthorization Required.
  • Keys received (PartnerStack) or Authorized (Zoom) once a credential is stored.
  • Evidence lines: Reason, Last checked, Last verified, Last reconcile, Last event.
ActionWhat it does
Send request / Resend requestEmails the setup link to the recipient. Limited to once a minute.
Re-request keysAsks for new PartnerStack keys.
Request reauthorizationAsks the contact to authorise Zoom again.
Run full reconcileQueues an immediate full PartnerStack pull. See Connect PartnerStack.
RevokeNeeds a reason. Removes the PartnerStack keys, or revokes the Zoom grant, and turns off webhook routing. Recovery needs the contact to connect again.

The Activity list records each request queued, delivered or failed, keys submitted or replaced, and Zoom authorisations.

What the contact does

From the setup link, or Strategy & setup > Integrations in the client portal:

  • PartnerStack: submit the public and secret API keys. Activate verifies them straight away ("Keys received. API access verified; awaiting the first data sync."). Then register the webhook endpoint shown on the page in PartnerStack.
  • Zoom: Connect with Zoom for the account that owns their webinars, and approve HockeyStick access.
