Setting up Activate
Ownership, cadence and context
Wizard steps 4 and 5, covering the partnership lead, monthly review day and the market and product context briefs reuse.
Ownership, cadence and context
Steps 4 and 5 set who owns the programme, when the monthly rhythm runs, and the client context every brief draws on.
Step 4 · Ownership + cadence
Partnership lead. Search by name or email. The list has two groups:
- Client users: the preferred choice, since the lead owns the programme day to day.
- Interim HockeyStick lead: a team member covering until the client names someone. Choosing one requires a reason (up to 1,600 characters), which appears as Interim wherever the lead is shown.
Monthly review day. Pick a day from 1 to 31. In shorter months the review falls on the last calendar day. The review day drives the reminder that the month's revenue inputs are due. See Monthly revenue inputs.
You can change both later in the Activate launch settings card on the Products tab. See Launch settings and consultant.
Step 5 · Market & product context
Three lists. Each needs at least one item:
| List | What to put in it |
|---|---|
| Target industries | The audiences Activate should target. Prefilled from Jo intake; edit, remove or add. |
| Core pain points | The partner-marketing problems campaigns should address for that audience. |
| Product / feature focus | Products, capabilities or features that generated assets should foreground. |
Each list holds up to 30 items. This context is frozen into the Strategy baseline and reused by every brief and generated asset. In the brief form, industries and pain points appear as suggestions.
