Setting up Activate
Activate settings sections
The five Strategy & setup sections, who owns each one, and what you can see from the mirror.
Activate settings sections
Activate settings live under Strategy & setup in the client's Activate navigation. In the Command Centre mirror they are at /admin/activate/mirror/{engagement}/settings/{section}. The mirror shows them read-only with the note "Read-only settings... Client-owned settings changes are made in Activate."
The sections
| Section | What it holds | Who changes it |
|---|---|---|
| Partnership strategy | The captured Strategy baseline | No one. Captured once in onboarding. |
| Programme settings | Partnership lead and monthly review day | Staff, on the Products tab launch settings card |
| Finance settings | Company currency, PartnerStack reporting currency, average partner-sourced deal value | The client |
| Integrations | PartnerStack and Zoom connection state | The client's integration contact |
| Slack & agent access | Slack workspace, organisation switch and licences | The client. Hidden in the mirror. |
Programme settings
Read-only for everyone in Activate. It shows the partnership lead and "Day N of each month" for the review. Until onboarding finishes, it says the lead and review date will appear once agreed.
Finance settings
The client sets:
- Company currency.
- PartnerStack reporting currency.
- Average partner-sourced deal value. This values webinar registrants: estimated value is this amount multiplied by the number of registrants. It is seeded from Jo intake.
Each change creates a new revision effective from that date. Existing figures keep the currency they were saved in.
Slack & agent access
This is where the client connects Slack and gives licences. It is covered in the Slack and assistant articles, not here.
