Running Activate
Activate notifications
The emails Activate sends, who receives them, and what is only shown in the app.
Activate notifications
Activate sends few emails. Most status lives on screen. Knowing who gets what stops you promising a client an email that does not exist.
Emails Activate sends
| Recipient | Trigger | |
|---|---|---|
| Integration request ("{Company} needs your help connecting ...") | The client's IT contact | Send request, Resend request, Change recipient, or Strategy baseline creation with a contact set |
| Integration alert ("{Provider} connection needs attention") | HockeyStick admins, plus an informational copy to the IT contact | A provider rejects the keys or grant, from the daily health check or a failed sync |
| Activate kickoff at risk | The assigned HockeyStick consultant only | Kickoff within 14 days and readiness not ready (daily check) |
An alert is not repeated for a connection that is already known to be failing.
What is not emailed
- Monthly revenue reminders. These show on the Revenue page as due or stale. They are not emailed.
- New Reviews, generated assets and brief stage changes. The client sees these in Activate. There are no Activate in-app notifications or emails for them.
- Approvals. Approving an asset does not publish or send anything.
Webinar and event emails in the activation kit are copy for the client to send themselves. HockeyStick does not send them.
Your routine
- Watch the Activate summary and the mirror's attention chips, rather than relying on email.
- Make sure every engagement has an assigned consultant and a kickoff date, so the kickoff watch can reach someone.
- When an integration alert arrives, open the client's Products tab and use the Integration access card.
