Setting up Activate
Strategy source, calendar and baseline
Wizard steps 1 to 3, covering the locked Riley source, the financial calendar and recognised partner revenue to date.
Strategy source, calendar and baseline
The first three wizard steps tie Activate to the published Align strategy and set the numbers that progress is measured from.
Step 1 · Confirm strategy source
This step is read-only. It shows the latest published Business Alignment Pack in four panels:
- Where to Play · R3 segments: the segments Riley chose.
- Partnership Growth Model: stage-to-stage conversion rates for each channel (PLG, marketing, sales, partner).
- Revenue horizon: the Year-1 partner revenue target, the gap to close, and the horizon length and dates.
- Bottom-Up revenue mix · Year 1: each partner type's amount and share.
The values come from the frozen publication snapshot. Edits made in the live Riley worksheet after publishing are not read here. If the numbers look wrong, fix them in Riley and republish before you create the baseline.
If Riley is not published, the step shows Published Riley source pending. You can carry on with the other steps; Riley publication is only checked when you create the baseline.
Step 2 · Financial calendar
- Fiscal-year convention: Calendar year (Jan to Dec), Australia financial year (Jul to Jun), New Zealand financial year (Apr to Mar), United Kingdom tax year, or United States federal fiscal year (Oct to Sep). This sets the reporting year across Activate.
- Plan year: the first committed year of the 24-month Activate plan.
Both are prefilled from the strategy and can be edited.
Step 3 · Revenue baseline
- Recognised partner revenue to date: partner-sourced revenue the client has already earned, up to the end of the last closed month. This is not the Year-1 target. It is prefilled and editable, and must be zero or more.
- Reporting currency: locked to the Riley reporting currency. You cannot change it here.
